The Mobile Safe Freight Unit was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection on Route 78 East in Greenwich Township when it was determined the vehicle was transporting of marijuana, New Jersey State Police said.

A subsequent search of the trailer led to the seizure of approximately 8,042.2 pounds of raw hydroponic marijuana, 12,062 pounds of various cannabis/THC products, and 13.4 pounds of psilocybin products, police said. The total weight of the seized contraband was 20,117.6 pounds, police said, with a value of $36 million.
Fnu Attiq Ur-Rahman, 22, and Haffez Rehman Ur, 35, both Stockton, California residents were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute psilocybin mushrooms, and possession of psilocybin mushrooms, police said. They were lodged at the Warren County Correctional Center pending a detention hearing, police said.
